Civil society organizations carry out initiatives targeting various groups within disadvantaged communities, yet the target group we hear the least about is “young people.”

The absence of a youth policy in our country, the tendency to view youth as merely a transitional phase, the lack of opportunities provided to young people, and the multiple forms of discrimination faced by young people with diverse identities all contribute to young people feeling trapped in their daily lives.

Since young people are not a homogeneous group, their needs vary, which requires multifaceted work and research. As Dayanışma İnsanları, we are working to support our young people, accurately assess their needs, and serve as companions on their life journey.

We are aware that our work with young people will also contribute positively to development, and we continue our efforts without forgetting that young people are the pioneers who will shape our future.
